Senior Director, Pharmacy Sales

The Senior Director, Pharmacy Sales is responsible for leading and executing the strategic direction of pharmacy sales initiatives across national and/or regional markets. This role will drive revenue growth, forge strong relationships with pharmacy partners (retail chains, specialty pharmacies, health systems, etc.), and lead a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed sales targets. The Senior Director will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to support innovation, market expansion, and overall business goals. What the Senior Director, Pharma Sales Does Each Day:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to grow pharmacy-related revenue across retail, specialty, and digital channels
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of regional and national pharmacy sales executives to achieve sales objectives
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships with pharmacy clients including independent pharmacies, chains, health systems, PBMs, wholesalers, and payers
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform business development opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer implementations
  • Oversee the development and negotiation of contracts, pricing models, and service level agreements
  • Present performance metrics, forecasts, and pipeline updates to executive leadership on a regular basis
  • Maintain strong industry relationships and represent the company at relevant conferences, trade shows, and industry events
  • Assess the Business Development's organizational performance against both the annual budget and company's long-term strategy
  • Develop tools and systems to provide critical sales and business development information to the CEO and other Executive Team Members and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations
  • Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models for areas of responsibility to provide insight into the organization's business plans
  • Manage the sales pipeline to achieve Business Development goals

Minimum Requirements for this Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience within the pharmacy, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated success in managing large, complex accounts and leading national sales teams
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
  • Experience with pharmacy technology platforms, medication adherence programs, or healthcare data analytics
  • Proven track record of scaling revenue in growth-phase or enterprise-level healthcare organizations
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed
  • Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Quva is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
