Ranger builds tools to help software teams spend more time building their product and less time finding bugs. Our core product is our web-agent-enabled QA service, which allows engineering, design, and product teams to have a suite of E2E tests run against their core product flows as their code changes. Our tests (written in Playwright) are created by our web agent, and maintained with the support of our QA Specialists. We partner with the fastest moving engineering teams that want to give their teams time back to focus on their next launch, not creating and maintaining tests. Our customers include Clay, Suno, Mercor, Tennr, and many more. Our team is backed by XYZ, General Catalyst, and 30+ other institutional and angel investors.
We are looking to bring on BDRs to help Ranger identify and sell to engineering and product teams across the fastest growing startups. This role is for people looking to start a career in sales or who have some limited experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate is someone who excels at working with founders and technical buyers, is ready to hustle to ensure we reach ambitious revenue goals, and is hungry to learn and advance their career.
Drive revenue for Ranger, owning opportunities throughout their lifecycle
Identify top-of-funnel prospects for Ranger, gaining a deep understanding of their needs around QA automation
Conduct intro calls and product demos with prospects
Be primary point of contact for leads, ensuring clear next steps are established with prospects
Become an expert in Ranger's product and problem space
Communicate with operations team to ensure smooth customer onboarding experience
Contribute to the next iteration of the Ranger sales process
Collaborate with team to update and improve sales materials
Experience in high intensity environments with a hunger to learn and improve
Strong prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing skills
Fearlessness to cold call
Experience selling developer tools + services is a plus
Ability to discuss Ranger's value proposition with Founders, executive-level leaders, and engineering team decision makers
Consultative sales approach and comfort speaking with technical buyers
Consistent track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment
High adaptability and willingness to evolve approach in fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Extremely capable with modern technology and finding ways to leverage AI in every day workflows
Has been a startup founder previously
Experience with Hubspot, Salesforce, Apollo, Salesloft, Unify, Clay, and other prominent GTM tooling
