About this role
We are seeking a Partnerships Lead (12 Month Maternity Cover) to lead our Business Development Team. You will be responsible for creating performance-led, strategic partnerships that incorporate a risk-sharing element with a CPA or revenue share typically incorporated into a partnership.
You will manage your own sector while also ensuring that the Partnerships Team, under your management, are delivering sales messages effectively and building inventive, scalable partnerships. Reporting to the Partnerships Director, you will lead your team with a hands-on approach - ensuring quarterly business plans from each team member are implemented - and performing weekly checks ins to support development. You will also work closely with other Team Leads - our Partnerships Operations Lead, Content Lead and Affiliates Lead to ensure that partnerships deliver on KPIs and are performance driven.
As the Partnerships Lead, you will take ultimate responsibility for maximising all revenue opportunities, explore new revenue streams, ensure quarterly and annual targets are met and build your own relationships at senior level.
What you'll need to succeed in this role
To succeed in this role, you will be an entrepreneurial and creative thinker with a strong record of driving revenue and hitting commercial targets. You are able to identify new commercial opportunities through looking at market feedback/ audience feedback and identifying gaps in the market. You will have a strong working knowledge of digital media and, ideally, a background working in media publishing.
You will be highly numerate with excellent attention to detail and be able to forecast and report digital and print revenue - keeping all revenue reporting accurate on a regular basis. You will be proactive, engaging and able to drive initiatives across the Partnerships Team as well as across the wider business. Management experience is preferred, but we also welcome applicants who may have leadership/ mentoring experience outside of a management role.
