SMB Account Executive

As an SMB Account Executive, you will be responsible for originating new business opportunities, managing the entire sales cycle, and closing deals with small and medium-sized businesses. You will leverage your sales skills and industry knowledge to identify prospects, build relationships, and drive revenue growth. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to our company's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and target potential SMB clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
- Sales Cycle Management:
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and pain points.
- Present and demonstrate our products/services to prospects, showcasing how they address client needs and deliver value.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, including pricing and contract terms.
- Relationship Building:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within SMB organizations.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Closing Deals:
- Negotiate and finalize contracts to close business deals, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and quotas on a consistent basis.
- Market and Product Expertise:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position our solutions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our product/service offerings and their benefits to SMB clients.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, opportunities, and market feedback.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, sales development, and product teams to ensure alignment and support for sales efforts.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and sales strategy discussions to contribute to overall team success.
