Reporting directly to the Country Manager, Immunology, the National Sales Director provides the leadership, impetus, strategic direction and sense of urgency to both develop and implement Regeneron's sales plans for the Immunology area to achieve revenue and earnings objectives and enhance Regeneron's potential. The NSD will lead an experienced Immunology sales team that has very successfully launched and grown in Canada.

To be considered for this you must have a bachelor's degree and/or Advanced Degree as well as 12 years of proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Experienced business/sales leader (10+ years overall biopharma experience with a minimum of 5 years sales leadership/management in specialty care).
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and will be capable of articulating the Company's sales strategies, and proven success and positive track record of sales performance with a high degree of integrity. The candidate must be an intellectually curious executive who is creative and "thinks outside the box", who is willing to take responsible risks, and who has a passion for commercializing innovative pharmaceutical drugs. You must also be comfortable working with scientific leaders in a science-focused culture.
For best fit, the candidate must have the ability and strong desire to "make things happen" and must have a results-oriented work ethic, a positive, can-do attitude, and a proven ability to retain high calibre sales personnel. Effective leadership, people management and a team builder style are essential.
