Sales Director, Immunology - Japan
Join Regeneron’s new country organization in Japan as a Sales Director, Immunology. You will lead, hire, develop, and retain a high-performing immunology field sales team, as well as collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders and Alliance partners for seamless cooperation and strong execution. Be a role model, championing Regeneron values and fostering a winning spirit within the team! You will report to the Country Manager, Immunology, Japan, and help to drive Regeneron’s success in the Japanese market.
A typical day might include the following:
1. Build and lead a high-performing team to achieve sales goals.
2. Ensure consistent team performance that meets/exceeds brand objectives.
3. Provide feedback, coaching, and development planning for direct reports.
4. Contribute to account plans with clear tactical assignments.
5. Align Incentive Compensation plans with brand strategies and targets.
6. Collaborate with alliance partners for commercial success.
7. Expand relationships with key HCPs across therapy areas.
8. Ensure Field Specialists are viewed as clinical experts.
9. Foster productive relationships with cross-functional colleagues.
10. Analyse market dynamics to support brand objectives.
11. Maintain high ethical and compliance standards.
This role may be for you if:
You have a bachelor’s Degree
You are an experienced professional with 10+ years of biopharma experience, with 5+ years in sales leadership.
You have shown proven success in hiring, coaching, and developing top talent.
You have a strong sales performance track record with high integrity.
You have excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
You are competent in sales technology and CRM systems.
You are willing to travel 30-40%, including some weekends.
You are proficient in both Japanese language skills and English.
