Job Function
- Contact regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and explain products
- Consult with clients after sales to resolve problems and provide ongoing support
- Provide customers with product samples as requested
- Receive incoming customer inquiries via phone and email
- Initiate and follow up on all customer service issues
- Arrange for inspection, return and credit of material which is non-compliant or otherwise rejected by the customer
- Create and maintain customer quote and special requirements files
- Review month end sales figures and reports for changes in customer activity and profit margins
- Communicate information gathered from customers regarding service, pricing, etc. with inside sales
- Responsible for growing assigned region by identifying prospective customers using business directories, following leads from existing clients, and observing your territory
- Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and product issues
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales
- Responsible for completing sales reports/territory review on a weekly basis
- Entertain customers as necessary
- Responsible for maintaining company vehicle as required
- Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships
- Cover Inside Sales positions when necessary
Required Skills
Knowledge:
- Principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
- Principles and processes for providing customer service
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to review and understand customer part drawings

Compensation Range
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $60,000.00/Yr. - USD $65,000.00/Yr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
