The Sales Support Generalist provides assistance in any of the 4 Sales Support functions: Hosted Buyer, Event Registration, Data Management, and Event Relations.
Accountabilities
Hosted Buyer:
Provide full-time customer service to all hosted buyer/TAP queries
Provide ad-hoc support to the Hosted Buyer/TAP Account Managers during recruitment and data cleaning activities
Actively support the delivery of the hosted buyer/TAP programs, call campaign, inbox management, vetting, persona profiling, tiering
Provide professional service and support for all Hosted Buyer/TAP attendees, striving to exceed customer expectations
Proactively seek out information about each show to provide accurate information to customers
Provide end to end customer support during the full Hosted Buyer/TAP show cycle from registration, on-site experience, and post-show activities
Handle all inbound calls, and email inquiries
Chase Hosted Buyers/TAP attendees through outbound email, and calls who have not registered or not selected appointment preferences
Meet agreed SLA, productivity standards and adhere to department policy, best practice guidelines, and procedures
Event Registration:
Navigate and explore registration tool while understanding its content
Responsible in processing all registrations processed through a registration tool
Responsible for updating/creating data on Salesforce/registration tool
Help with virtual event set-up and tasks within virtual event platforms
Look through to help Registration Managers in updating missing information in their setup letters
Help to keep registration spreadsheets updated on a continuous basis
Carry out meaningful conversation with internal and external client
Responsible in meeting the agreed SLAs and deadlines in the registration process
Responsible for ad-hoc support to show team including but not limited to back end, admin tasks
Carry out registration tool testing, updating registrants' profile and badges
Data Management:
Generate leads for our events based on show brief provided by BU
Enrich current database through internet research
Update or remove existing contacts on the database through internet research
Validate existing contacts/leads on our database
Event Relations:
Execute campaigns to invite visitors to our event
Proactively calls visitors or exhibitors to disseminate information
Call potential clients and gauge their interest on our show and potentially arrange a meeting with the exhibitors (matchmaking)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree holder, any degree
At least 1 year of relevant experience
Experience dealing with various stakeholders in a global perspective
Experience in lead generation preferred
Experience in back-office support for e-mails and chat
Call Taking experience
Basic knowledge in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical, quantitative and deductive reasoning skills
