Sales Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Support Specialist to join a dynamic UK-based company operating in the SaaS space. This remote role, based in South Africa, offers the opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organisation that values collaboration, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. You will provide critical administrative and operational support to the sales team, ensuring seamless processes and helping drive customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely sales quotes for customers, ensuring alignment with their requirements and pricing guidelines.
• Track and follow up on quotes to guarantee timely responses to customer enquiries.
• Submit deal registrations promptly upon request.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products and services.
• Assist with order processing, shipment tracking, and resolving logistics-related issues.
• Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries, escalating warm leads to Account Managers where appropriate.
• Support the Sales Director with reports and clarifications on open orders or enquiries.
• Maintain and update customer information in the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Record recurring billing (monthly, quarterly, or annually) and generate renewal opportunities for expiring software or hardware orders.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline sales support activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting sales teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable laptop for remote work.
