We are looking for a Technical Account Specialist to represent our cutting-edge Applied Genomics portfolio in DACH. Your Superpowers in Action

  • Responsible for achieving assigned sales targets for customers located within the DACH region.
  • Ability to enlarge your network by dedicated and strategic prospecting activities, responding to RFPs, and developing proposals for presentation to customers.
  • Act as a consultative partner to customers, understanding their unique challenges and providing strategic guidance to help them achieve their goals with our genomics solutions.
  • Serve as a technical expert for the Applied Genomics portfolio, providing in-depth product knowledge and application support to customers.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their scientific challenges and recommend tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Partner with internal teams, including R&D and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of technical solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical workshops, and training sessions to showcase the capabilities of our genomics solutions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements in genomics, proteomics, and biologics to provide cutting-edge insights to customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience, with a track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in genomics, proteomics, or biologics workflows, with a strong understanding of laboratory techniques and applications.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A results-driven, energetic self-starter with a passion for sales, consistently delivering effective outcomes and motivated to exceed targets.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong presentation skills, thriving in international environments while balancing independence, organization, and teamwork to uncover new opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as technical sales, field applications, or product support.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce for managing customer interactions and forecasting.
  • Willingness to travel and engage with customers at their sites, as well as attend industry events and conferences.
  • Fluent in German and English, both verbal and written.
