Sr. Account Executive (SAE)

Rimini Street is seeking an experienced Sr. Account Executive focusing on FSI and Professional Services in the UK and Ireland to sell our world-class service offerings. At Rimini Street, we sell service solutions that increase our clients return on investment in world class technologies such as VMWare, Oracle and SAP and is leading the way in the adoption of Agentic AI ERP.

The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, a proven track record of sales excellence within UK FSI and Professional Services and the ability to meet/exceed quotas. The candidate must be hungry and have a passion for winning. We need someone that can be very hands-on, does whatever it takes to build revenue, and be a strategic thinker with the ability to create long-term sales plans and execute on them with our prospects and existing customers. The candidate must be able to build pipeline to capture new logos and expand our business with our solution portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years' enterprise selling experience, selling new and innovative enterprise services and solutions into the FSI and Professional Services sector in particular.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create awareness and demand for Rimini Street products and services by developing your territory with the support of field marketing and your own planned outreach
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow-up, networking, and working with lead generation team. Developing your own sales qualified leads is a strong requirement.
  • Establish a dialogue with prospects and understand their unique goals, problems, and needs
  • Provide and guide prospects' strategic vision to drive them toward the Rimini Street solutions portfolio.
  • Use company provided assets to create or customize compelling sales presentation messages, positioning statements, and other sales collateral for specific sales opportunities
  • Orchestrate and drive the Rimini Street sales process by working collaboratively with functional peers (Sales Engineers, Delivery, Operations, Legal, Marketing, Finance) to successfully win an opportunity
  • Implement and utilize current Social and Digital selling strategies to maximize opportunities via Social Networking platforms
  • Be an expert in LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools to develop your own unique outreach in your territory
  • Update and track all activities in our Salesforce CRM tool
  • Leverage Clari or similar sales efficiency tools to help manage your opportunities
  • Accurately forecast and meet quarterly and annual sales commitments
  • Be a continuous learner that embraces enablement and staying up to date on the latest technology, products, offerings, and selling tools/skills

Experience:

  • Command knowledge of the UK FSI and Professional Services industry
  • Understanding of current FSI regulations i.e. DORA, PCI as it relates to information technology
  • Record of sustained and significant quota over-achievement

Skills:

  • Strong territory and account planning skills including ability and passion for prospecting
  • Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with C-level executives, procurement, legal, and line of business representatives
  • Ability to engage prospects with a consultative sales approach
  • Have strong writing and presentation skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven experience with Social and Digital selling techniques
  • Deep knowledge of key prospecting and selling tools
  • Able to work under stress and handle multiple critical priorities
  • Very strong work ethic with "can do, roll up sleeves to figure it out" attitude
  • Ability to leverage supporting team of Sales Engineers, Lead Generation, and Marketing, Business Development, and Inside Sales

Education:

Bachelor's degree required

Location: Remote - UK
