Robbins Recruiting has partnered with a leader in the residential roofing industry looking for a motivated Sales Manager at one of their branches near Detroit, MI.
Sales Leadership and Strategy
Set and maintain the standard within the sales team
Oversee the day-to-day activities of and the long-term development of the sales reps
Lead standing sales team meetings and conduct effective 1:1 meetings with members of the team
Continually evolve and improve the sales process to meet the demands of the market
Partner with other functions (e.g., marketing) to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution of the strategy
Training and Development
Incorporate trainings into the standing team meetings
Develop training guides and resources to facilitate continual improvement of the sales team
Conduct effective new hire training
Establish and ensure adherence to performance management standards and process, including set KPIs with thresholds and remedial processes
Recruiting
Establish profile of ideal sales rep
Lead talent management within the sales organization, including the building and maintenance of the talent pipeline
Operational Excellence
Ensure sales team is executing against standards (i.e., proper uniforms, punctuality, effectively using the technology provided, etc.)

Experience leading in-home sales teams within the home improvement space
Preferred: Roofing experience

Proficient with common sales-enablement technology for in-home sales (e.g., Rilla)
Proficient in CRM system usage
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
At least five years in in-home sales, with prior leadership experience strongly preferred
Physical Qualifications
Work is performed both in an office environment and in the field while working with reps. Requires the ability to operate office equipment and keyboards. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
