Job Description

Safran Aerosystems (SAO) designs high-technology solutions that optimize aircraft performance and flight safety. The Oxygen Division (OXY) of SAO, works in oxygen systems for pilots and passengers in both civil and military fields. Attached to the Commercial Direction, your main role is to manage a portfolio of prospects and clients, both for new equipment sales and after-sales activities. In this capacity, you have the following missions:

  • Identify opportunities upstream and influence client needs through prospecting and prescription actions.
  • Create a long-term trust relationship with prospects/clients in the portfolio.
  • Gain new markets with existing clients and conquer new accounts.
  • Manage the entire client relationship on the dedicated activity, from responses to calls for tenders to support for teams in charge of collection.
  • Propose and have the strategy related to its activity validated by the Director of the pole and formalize it through Business Plans, in close collaboration with finance and the program.
  • Negotiate, sometimes at a high level, contracts in compliance with the procedures and delegations in place.
  • Organize framing, offer, and contract reviews in compliance with the existing delegations and ensure that the resulting actions are closed.
  • Collect market and competition intelligence.
  • Participate in the construction of Industrial and Commercial Plans and Medium-Term Plan.

Job Requirements

Graduated from a Bac+5 (business school or equivalent), you have confirmed experience (more than 5 years) in commercial development, ideally in an industrial environment. You have relational skills and a strong customer service sense, you know how to build long-term and trustworthy relationships. You are capable of influence and persuasion, allowing you to anticipate needs and position our offers effectively. Results-oriented and development-focused, you have a true business sense, combined with a spirit of negotiation and great diplomacy, even in high-stakes contexts. Your cross-functional leadership allows you to mobilize internal stakeholders (finance, program, collection, etc.). You are recognized for your rigor, your sense of organization, and your ability to pilot complex sales cycles. Finally, you have a strategic vision, a good analytical mind, and a natural curiosity to follow market evolution. Autonomous and proactive, you know how to take initiatives with discernment.
