Inside Sales Representative

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for supporting our Regional Sales team on US DoD and International government pursuits involving Assured PNT, Inertial Navigation and GNSS Simulation technologies. The Inside Sales Representative is a critical team member who will enable sales growth by executing a variety of business functions in accordance with SFS' strategy.

Safran Federal Systems provides Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (R-PNT) solutions and custom engineering services to U.S. Government agencies, defense organizations and their contractors. Safran Federal Systems is authorized to work on the full spectrum of U.S. Government classified and unclassified projects, in addition to supporting strategic partnerships for key defense PNT technologies.

How I will Contribute

  • Proactively identify new sales opportunities through lead-generating activities such as LinkedIn and ZoomInfo.
  • Manage customer relationships by ensuring SFS supplier information is up to date in customer vendor management systems.
  • Support the Sales Operations team through opportunity management, ensuring all necessary customer information is received prior to product shipment.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Support team to prioritize and resolve customer inquiries.
  • Utilize Salesforce to construct quotes, track leads, generate dashboards, and manage pipeline reporting.
  • Research and communicate industry trends to identify potential sales opportunities.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Sales role or related function. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience in the US Defense industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desire for career growth as a Sales professional.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
