As a Presales Consultant, you will be responsible for working with prospective customers to understand their business requirements and identify how these can be met by SAI360 software solutions. You will prepare/conduct product presentations and demonstrations, effectively representing the software capabilities and their relevance to the potential client's key objectives, whilst answering RFP's from a functional point of view. In addition, you will feed back your observations from the market to SAI360's product management and product marketing teams.
The primary objectives and responsibilities of a Presales Consultant includes:
- Assist in sales opportunities as a Subject Matter Expert;
- Collaborate with sales team members on competitive sales strategies and tactics;
- Assist sales team members in organising and developing RFP/RFI responses;
- Oversee creation/execution of specific demonstrations and proof of concepts;
- Assist in sales training to heighten sales team knowledge of product capabilities;
- Provide insights into competitors, sales tactics and techniques;
- Advise the wider Sales team on sales productivity or other matters impacting business unit performance;
- Work in a fast paced environment where you will support simultaneous sales campaigns;
- Assist in the transition of new business to professional service and support teams;
- Thoroughly document key business requirements;
- Configure the software to demonstrate its ability to meet a business' needs.
What you'll bring to the table:
- Native or business proficiency in German is highly advantageous;
- Proven track record of experience conducting customer needs analysis and product demonstrations, within a 6-12 month sales cycle;
- Experience selling into highly regulated industries is desirable;
- An understanding of Governance, Risk and Compliance solutions is critical to success;
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office products and Salesforce.com;
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI is highly advantageous;
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills required;
- Needs to be able to grasp and smoothly articulate the challenges involved in complying with key risk and regulatory requirements for target industries, establishing and implementing enterprise risk and compliance strategies, and how customers can more effectively manage compliance with changing laws and regulations;
- Ability to solve complex problems with a solutions-oriented focus;
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to perform in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team with open, collaborative communication;
