Business Development Representative (BDR)

Location: Bristol (hybrid) or UK-remote

Compensation: £30k base + £12–15k uncapped commission (OTE ~£42–45k)

Start Date: Immediate

Why This Role Matters

Our marketing engine is generating thousands of leads every month. The opportunity is huge — but only if we have the right person squeezing every ounce of value from that inbound flow. That's where you come in.

As our first UK-hired BDR, you'll be at the sharp end of revenue creation: qualifying inbound, reviving no-shows, chasing down buyer intent signals, and opening doors at mid-market and enterprise accounts. You'll work directly with one of our top sales performers (Jack Broom) and have a clear line of sight to leadership impact from day one.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Turn marketing into revenue: Follow up on high-quality inbound leads, website visitors (via ZoomInfo deanonymisation), and event data.
  • Multi-thread accounts: When the first contact isn't the right one, map the org, find the decision-makers, and get meetings booked.
  • Multi-channel hustle: Phone, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp — whatever it takes. You'll know how to switch gears to get results.
  • Hyper-local plays: Support "hyper-local" initiatives targeting 3,000+ accounts in the South West, with opportunities to test new campaign strategies alongside marketing.
  • Partner with AEs: Work one-to-one with top salespeople, fuelling their pipeline and learning first-hand how deals are won.

  • Energy > CV: Whether this is your first sales job or you've got 1–2 years' SDR/BDR experience, what matters most is your drive, attitude, and ability to spark conversations.
  • Resilient & tenacious: You've got the grit to pick up the phone on a rainy Tuesday morning and make things happen.
  • Commercially curious: You want to understand how businesses work, ask smart questions, and connect problems to solutions.
  • Adaptive communicator: Equally confident firing off crisp emails, jumping into a LinkedIn thread, or holding your own with a C-suite exec on the phone.
  • Growth-hungry: You see this role as a launchpad. Top performers here progress fast into AE roles.
