Sales & Events Coord (kroc)

Public Relations Coordinator

Scheduled hours will rotate including some weekends: Full Time (39 hours per week)

This position will focus on the outside sales of the facility: including but not limited to weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, corporate meeting and events. Coordinator will work closely with the customer to ensure appropriate accommodations including video and sound equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists the Sales & Events Manager with developing sales plans, identify new prospects and set appointments.
• Works in conjunction with The Kroc Centers Program Department for each scheduled event.
• Works in conjunction with The Kroc Centers Membership and Guest Services Coordinator with scheduling tours of the facility and organizing open houses for local civic groups, parties, and social groups.
• Quotes prices for facility rentals, schedules events in the scheduling system.
• Maintains rental agreements to include processing deposits/payments and refunds of deposits.
• Ensures customers adhere to rental agreement terms and conditions: adhering to schedule, set up and clean up.
• Works with Finance Department to ensure all payments are processed accurately.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying moderately heavy (25-50lbs).
• Working daily with individuals and groups selling facility rentals, several walking tours of the facility.
• Majority of work is performed indoors in an office setting.
