The primary purpose of the role is to perform Samsung B2B eCommerce Category Management and Sales Operations functions. Samsung is looking for a B2B eCommerce Category Manager to manage product portfolios, inventory, forecasting, pricing and offers, website merchandising and sales operations functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding and passion for data and analytics, forecast analysis, financial analysis, business planning, promotion planning, sales operations and customer experience, and be able to articulate ideas and establish best practices that build and improve processes, operations and systems. The role will work closely with sales teams, internal eCommerce colleagues and cross-functional partners in Mobile, Display, TV, Memory and Appliance product lines to align inventory, pricing and offers, sales deals and website strategies, perform functional and operational tasks pertaining to category management, sales operations and website merchandising, and deliver on data and reporting requirements for planning and post-analysis. Today increasing number of Businesses are turning to buy online directly from OEMs and we want to provide SMBs, Mid-Market, Enterprise customers a one stop shop with the Samsung Business eStore to access to Samsung's ecosystem of products and services. This role helps Samsung deliver our world-class experience to B2B customers buying online.
Key Responsibilities:
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant professional experience in eCommerce management or related field
• Data-oriented with strong analytical skills and attention to detail, self-motivated and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties
• Ecommerce platform and catalog management required
• Demonstrated ability to work with numbers, financials, P&L and various datasets
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel formulas, pivot tables, data stitching and mathematical analysis
• Strong understanding of current technologies and systems that support the digital ecosystem
• Strong project or program management experience with attention to documentation, tracking and details
• Aptitude for organization, flexibility and producing results
• Strong customer-centric focus/ability to anticipate and react to user needs
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve necessary results
• Demonstration of innovation and initiative; always looking at improving the customer experience and processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details and help wherever necessary
• Ability to anticipate how a decision made can affect our customers, partners, ecosystem and operations
