We are currently looking for a talented account executive focused on growing revenue and building new relationships with performance driven agencies and advertisers. Performance Sales is one of Samsung Ads' fastest growing customer categories and is inclusive of many national and regional advertisers – some have run in TV for years and others are brand new to the medium. The ideal candidate should have a passion for streaming video, mobile apps, expertise in data driven audience activation, and a pulse on new multi-channel advertising technologies. With the rapid growth of mobile app advertising, this individual should be equally comfortable speaking with clients about their UA KPIs as they are about implementing MMP postback links. With the rapid growth of programmatic activation in Connected TV, this seller should be equally comfortable speaking in terms like PG, PMP, and SSP as they are with insertion orders. This individual must be able to think strategically, anticipate how buying decisions are made, uncover the business needs of key clients and have a proven ability to close deals. Additionally, this sales executive will be the consummate team-player and have the ability to work collaboratively across the sales organization within a fluid and fast-paced environment.
The individual should have a passion for video, advanced TV, and the rapidly changing way consumers are viewing premium content across all screens. It's key to have a pulse on how the performance and acquisition community is thinking about and allocating spend to video channels and what solutions they need to do so more seamlessly. This individual should have a deep understanding of mobile measurement partners (MMPs) such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Kochava, etc., 3P attribution partners like iSpot, Extreme Reach, Innovid and experience working with mobile app partners in the non-gaming space to drive user acquisition on mobile, web as well as in-app conversion.
This individual should have existing relationships across performance, mobile user acquisition, and direct-to-consumer teams including key senior level contacts at agencies and brands. This account executive must be able to think strategically, anticipate how buying decisions are made, uncover the business needs of key clients, and have a proven ability to drive spend through Programmatic Guaranteed (PG), Private Marketplace (PMP), and Insertion Order (IO) buy types. This position will carry an annual revenue goal.
This Performance Seller position is based in New York with domestic US travel as needed, occasional visits to the product/engineering offices in Montreal, Canada and Mountain View, CA. You will report to our Performance Sales Lead. The salary range for this role is expected to be between $130,000 and $155,000 base, with a quarterly bonus. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
