Rock Tools Sales & Service Representative (TSSR)

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Rock Tools Sales & Service Representative (TSSR). In this field-based role, you will support our growing customer base across Eastern Canada by delivering onsite technical expertise, optimizing tooling performance, and representing a globally recognized brand known for safety, reliability, and innovation. You will work closely with mine site personnel to improve productivity, enhance tool life, and help customers achieve the lowest total cost of ownership.

What you will be doing:

  • Promote and sell Sandvik rock tools, consumables, and service solutions within an assigned territory.
  • Provide high-quality onsite technical support, including troubleshooting, optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with operators, supervisors, and mine site management.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend solutions that improve safety, productivity, and tool longevity.
  • Retain existing business while actively pursuing new opportunities.
  • Use Sandvik digital tools and reporting systems to capture performance data and business intelligence.
  • Plan weekly and monthly activities to meet service excellence and commercial targets.
  • Maintain business relationships while developing new market opportunities across Eastern Canada.
  • Support continuous improvement by providing customer feedback and market insights to internal teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver exceptional value and operational support to customers.

What you will bring along:

  • Technical education or practical experience in mining, drilling, or related industrial fields.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently across remote locations while managing a large territory.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
  • Preferred: Experience with rock tools, drilling applications, or systems such as DTH, Top Hammer, or Rotary.
  • Technical sales or field service experience.
  • Modular Training for Mine Workers (FMTM).
  • Valid explosives handling permit.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
