Account Manager - Portfolio Sales

Location: Belo Horizonte - Minas Gerais

Job Description

The Account Manager - Portfolio Sales plays a crucial role in optimizing immunization processes within the Brazilian public health system. Working closely with Public Account Managers (PAMs), the VSM ensures that high-level strategies are translated into concrete actions in the day-to-day operations of health institutions, connecting tactical planning with operational execution.

Main Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Implement and optimize immunization flows in hospitals, maternity wards, CRIEs, and municipal cold chain networks
  • Propose access solutions for professionals generating demand within institutions (maternity wards, application centers)
  • Conduct training for healthcare professionals on vaccination protocols
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as adherence rates and coverage within key institutions and prioritized regions

Tactical Articulation

  • Link local coordinators with institutional strategies for better implementation of immunization flows
  • Interact with key nursing coordinators and doctors in the institution to increase awareness of the availability of special immunobiologicals through the National Immunization Program
  • Align actions with municipal and regional technical teams to promote access expansion to immunobiologicals
  • Collaborate with PAMs to identify needs and opportunities for better execution of institutionalized protocols at the municipal and institutional levels

Strategic Support

  • Collaborate with PAMs in mapping and liaising with strategic stakeholders operating in the institutions and region of responsibility of the VSM
  • Provide insights based on field experiences to inform and substantiate high-level decision-making
  • Propose improvements based on data captured in institutions regarding immunization flows

Innovation and Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for sustainable innovations in immunization programs
  • Develop and propose solutions to strengthen vaccination initiatives

Individual Contributors

  • Maintain knowledge and comply with the principles of Ethics and Integrity, Sanofi policies, and codes of conduct that regulate the pharmaceutical market
  • Comply with and promote Sanofi's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies to prevent accidents, avoid health risks, promote the well-being of employees, and reduce environmental impacts resulting from work activities
  • Support Sanofi’s strategy and initiatives for Diversity and Inclusion to ensure that all employees and partners are treated with respect and receive equal opportunities

About You

Requirements

  • Complete higher education in Health Sciences, Administration, Public Management, or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical market, functioning of the Unified Health System (SUS), and patient journey within and outside institutions for access to technologies

Differentials

  • Postgraduate degree in Public Health or Health Management
  • Experience in implementing health protocols in institutions, working with products that have protocols available through the Ministry of Health or public institutions
  • Experience in managing health projects
  • Understanding of immunization management at the federal/state and municipal levels
  • Intermediate English

Technical Competencies

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of national immunization policies and guidelines

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments

Travel Requirements

This position requires significant travel, estimated at 60-80% of work time, to various health institutions and government bodies across the designated region.
