The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth and supporting district and school partners in achieving literacy and learning goals through Scholastic Education solutions. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with educators and administrators, identifying customer needs, and providing consultative support to align Scholastic products and services with district priorities.
The Inside Sales Specialist works closely with field sales, customer support, and internal teams to manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation and prospecting to closing sales and ensuring a positive customer experience. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, data-driven decision-making, and a passion for supporting literacy and equitable learning outcomes for all students.

Experience and Knowledge:
· A background in K-12 sales or education is preferred, but is not mandatory.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong computer and digital presentation skills, including Excel, Google Suite, and Outlook.
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Experience in Education and/or Inside Sales preferred, but not mandatory
· Proven track record of generating sales of 2 mm+ annually preferred, but not mandatory
