The Auto And Marine Sales And Service Representative is responsible for implementing strategies to acquire, retain and grow auto and marine programs and relationships (auto and merchant). This person provides the highest quality services to our indirect dealer partners and members. The incumbent will take ownership for their areas of responsibilities by handling potential auto and marine member complaints/issues and contribute to the strategic marketing planning and success of this lending division business line.
This position is responsible for supporting the auto and marine lending operations as a liaison with internal and external departments including lending operations, marketing, credit administration and other applicable departments. Externally, this position will be the primary contact with our indirect lending vendor, currently CRIF Select and will work directly with CRIF staff supporting programs and rates as applicable to the SECU product offerings. This position will be main point of contact with our dealership partners across the SECU market footprint.
The incumbent will participate in various community activities to bring awareness of our auto products and services to local business Chamber functions, Open Houses in the community, and other networking activities and will be responsible for tracking their individual results and referrals as a result of sales strategies.
Through frequent contact with both existing and potential dealer sources, this position is also responsible for identifying SECU Bank at Work (BAW) relationships and to serve as an introductory conduit for these leads to applicable branch and/or business baker resource.
The Auto And Marine Sales And Service Representative adheres to regulations and organizational policies, maintaining awareness and knowledge required to perform the duties of the position, including all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations, such as OFAC, and the USA Patriot Act, Fair Lending and Information Security.
Acquisition: Identify and implement business strategies and activities to acquire, retain and grow relationships (auto, marine and merchant services). Partner with Marketing and SECU product support staff to acquire new loans and improve efficiency in the loan workflow internally and externally.
Performance Results: Drive monthly and quarterly achievement of unit and volume penetration goals. Provide weekly sales results and activities to Business Sales and Training Managers.
Product Support And Issue Resolution: Collaborate with internal and external staff to resolve issues. Coordinate required loan changes with SECU operations staff, specific dealerships and CRIF lending support staff. Provide dedicated support to SECU Retail Centers.
Retention: Provide dedicated support to dealer partners and their employees to ensure engagement and satisfaction. Schedule and facilitate site visits to maintain strong business relationships. Conduct one-on-one training sessions with dealership staff as appropriate to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Networking: Attend applicable functions to promote SECU's product and service offerings. Attend various indirect dealer webinars, classes and training courses (MDDCUA). Monitor and stay informed of market trends and changes.
Additional Responsibilities may include: Participating with internal project teams supporting applicable lending products Reporting and analysis projects in support of corporate decision making Analyzing specific dealership volume and loan results in support of keeping our dealership network efficient Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements BA/BS degree or commensurate experience in the auto lending and dealership management business required

Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Compensation Information: Offers will be commensurate with experience and education. The full salary range for this grade is $73,800 - $118,000, however the budget for this position is $73,800 - $95,000.
