This role focuses on quoting customer parts and assemblies in the metal processing industry, requiring strong skills in blueprint reading, cost estimating (materials, labor, freight), and customer engagement. The position blends technical understanding with a sales-driven mindset, offering a great opportunity to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Position Highlights:

• Pay: $60,000–$80,000/year + overtime pay (even though salaried)
• Location: Norcross, GA (30071)
• Schedule: M–F, 8:00am–5:00pm
• Travel: Occasional vendor visits

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints for parts and assemblies
• Prepare accurate quotes for material, labor, and freight costs
• Manage incoming orders to ensure accuracy and timely execution
• Build and maintain customer relationships through calls and account development
• Collaborate with internal departments to support account plans
• Negotiate pricing and support customer needs with professionalism

Requirements:

• Experience using CAD-related programs (navigating only, no drafting)
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a U.S. Citizen (no sponsorship available)

Preferred:

• Prior fabrication sales or metal industry experience
• Bachelor's degree
