Director Of Portfolio Sales

The Director of Portfolio Sales will lead group sales and local account development across a portfolio of Sentral buildings with a focus on the furnished program, bridging the gap between hotel-style group business and extended-stay corporate housing. This role combines strategy and execution, driving revenue by converting inbound group leads, cultivating local corporate partnerships, and empowering onsite teams through training and accountability. Acting as the voice of Corporate Sales on ownership calls, the Director will represent furnished revenue performance and ensure property teams consistently deliver against ownership expectations and sales standards.
This is a remote position available for those who live within 30 minutes of San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Denver, Miami, Nashville, Phoenix, San Diego, Houston.
Group Sales & Local Account Development
- Lead the management of all 3rd-party and direct inbound group leads, ensuring swift response times and strong conversion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local corporate, government, and institutional accounts to generate consistent furnished demand.
- Create and execute market-specific account plans and local promotional strategies.
Onsite Team Training & Accountability
- Train onsite sales and operations teams on how to proactively sell group business and identify local corporate opportunities.
- Provide tools, scripting, and ongoing coaching to ensure consistency in sales execution at the property level.
- Establish accountability frameworks and hold onsite teams responsible for furnished revenue goals.
Ownership & Revenue Oversight
- Represent furnished sales performance on regular ownership calls, providing clear insights into results, strategies, and opportunities.
- Monitor revenue production across a dedicated property portfolio, ensuring furnished program pacing is aligned with budgets and outperforming prior year benchmarks.
- Partner with Associate VP of Corporate Sales & Revenue Management to maximize rate, inventory, and distribution strategies for group and corporate segments.
Collaboration & Representation
- Work closely with Regional GMs, Operations, and Marketing to align local sales initiatives with national strategy.
- Foster community partnerships to represent Sentral and grow awareness of the furnished program.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive sales experience in hospitality, multifamily, or corporate housing industries.
- Strong track record in group sales and corporate account development, with proven ability to close and grow revenue.
- Experience leading, coaching, and holding onsite teams accountable for performance.
- Skilled in presenting to ownership groups, delivering results-focused reporting, and influencing executive stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
