Responsible for serving client families by making at need cemetery arrangements, and selling pre-need arrangements. The Family Service Counselor offers personalized service and is the primary contact with families, and also plays an essential role in generating revenue for the cemetery.
Responsibilities of the position include generating sales leads, establishing relationships with families, and teamwork. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of college or equivalent education and experience, and 1-2 years of customer service or sales industry experience.
The work environment is primarily indoors, with a standard work attire required. The job requires physical dexterity, including the use of documents, calculators, computers, and phones. The work schedule may include working beyond normal hours and requires a minimum of travel.
Compensation is targeted between $50,000 to $100,000 (with higher earnings potential based on exceptional performance).
