Inside Sales/Front Office Support

Join a 70 year young and growing company. With 50+ locations in 8 states, Service Tire Truck Centers, Inc. has a Full-time position available for an Inside Sales/Front Office Support person.

Responsibilities include:

• Answering phones
• Handles inbound sales calls to initiate service request
• Handle all walk-in sales calls
• Billing customers using multiple computer programs
• Emphasizes product features, quotes price (Tires & Service) and prepares sales orders
• Upsell with mechanical and alignment
• Builds and maintains customer's relations
• Follows up with the customers and future opportunities
• Investigate and resolve customer problems
• Assist the Service Manager with collecting and writing up road call information and facilitating and assisting with orders for Service Tire account customers
• Works hand in hand with walk-in customers to ensure excellent customer service
• Making collection phone calls (as needed)
• Supporting the Service Manager and Branch Manager
• Billing customers at the time of service
• Drives business to the Mechanical department and schedules with Onsite Mechanic
• Many other office related duties
• Creating customer profiles
• Converting cash customers to charge customers
• Creating pricing structures to include on factors and service schedules

The Ideal Applicant should have strong interpersonal skills, computer experience, and the ability to work independently while handling multiple tasks in a fast pace setting. You must be professional, friendly and courteous when dealing with customers both on and off the phone.

Qualifications:

• Ability to use and work with a computer
• Basic tire knowledge & mechanical knowledge as it relates to branch capabilities & goals
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and email
• Clerical skills
• Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
• This position is required to handle monetary transactions and work with a credit card machine.
