Regional Sales Manager – Industrial & Environmental Services (I&E)

SGS is a Swiss multinational company, a global leader in inspection, verification, analysis, and certification services for products and services, with more than 2600 offices and laboratories worldwide. In Peru, we operate in most economic sectors such as mining, agriculture, and fishing, forming part of the value chain of their products and services. Currently, we are looking for a Sales Manager.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Supervise, develop, and accompany the KAM team to ensure the fulfillment of sales targets and pipeline.
  • Define commercial objectives, action plans, and priorities by sector and account.
  • Ensure commercial discipline in CRM, forecast, pipeline, and opportunity tracking.
  • Promote a consultative sales culture, oriented to solutions and added value.

Large Account Development & Market Penetration

  • Lead the capture and development of strategic accounts and large projects, mainly in the mining sector.
  • Use your network of contacts and own portfolio to open doors, generate opportunities, and accelerate closures.
  • Accompany the team in complex negotiations, tenders, and high-value processes.
  • Identify new business opportunities, clients, and greenfield and brownfield projects.

Commercial Strategy & Growth

  • Design and execute growth strategies for environmental and industrial services.
  • Define expansion plans by sector (mining, energy, hydrocarbons, industry).
  • Promote cross-selling and upselling strategies among SGS's different services.
  • Coordinate with marketing and business development to generate demand initiatives.

Client & Stakeholder Relationship

  • Act as the commercial sponsor of the main strategic accounts.
  • Maintain relationships with decision-makers: general managers, environmental managers, operations, and projects.
  • Represent SGS in high-level spaces: executive meetings, sectorial events, guilds, and associations.

Internal Coordination & Execution

  • Coordinate with operations, laboratories, and consultancy to ensure correct attention to customer requirements.
  • Ensure service quality, compliance with deadlines, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage commercial risks and support the resolution of relevant contingencies.

Requirements

  • Graduated professional in Engineering, Administration, Environmental Sciences, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of commercial experience, with a focus on the mining sector.
  • Proven experience in B2B service sales (environmental, industrial, technical, or similar).
  • Active portfolio and strategic network of contacts in mining (operators, projects, EPC, contractors).
  • Experience leading and supervising commercial teams.
  • Solid knowledge of bidding, negotiation, and consultative sales processes.
  • Management of CRM, forecast, and commercial management tools.
