Sales Executive Export

The business unit Trade Facilitation Services within SGS helps government agencies of importing countries to ensure that imported goods meet local standards and regulations and to facilitate trade.

Function Description

In this role, you will support the certification of our customers' export goods. Your challenge lies in identifying, approaching, and acquiring new clients. Are you skilled in winning new relationships and understanding their needs? Then we would like to see you in our sales team in Spijkenisse!

Your daily tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Aligned with the general sales strategy, you will create a sales plan to increase sales within assigned regions;
  • Thanks to your experience and sales skills, you will identify customer needs and turn them into sales opportunities;
  • You will be the link that presents and sells new services to customers at correct margins and within operational capacity;
  • You will be responsible for the administrative work; detailed contracts and agreements are not unfamiliar to you;
  • To ensure seamless business execution, you will be in close contact with technical and operational teams.

Function Requirements

  • Minimum possession of a bachelor's degree;
  • Experience in a commercial role within a logistics setting;
  • Enthusiastic about the complex export world;
  • Possess a range of commercial skills;
  • Willing to travel and occasionally work evenings or weekends;
  • Can easily switch from formal to informal conversations.
