Role Summary: Unlike traditional rooftop solar sales, Community Solar programs offer residents and business owners the opportunity to lower their energy bills and share the benefits of solar power without the upfront costs or access to a roof. Nearly every resident you speak with qualifies for a community solar subscription opportunity–no worrying about roof access, credit checks, or whether they're a homeowner or renter.

Pathway Solar is growing, and we're on the hunt for fearless, hard-working, and motivated individuals to contract with us in our door-to-door community solar program. As independent contractors, Sales Representatives may complete every part of the program when they want, and have the flexibility to knock on doors and close sales when and where they choose–there's no requirement to travel to an office, and you can work around any other personal or professional commitments!

Sales Representatives will be paid $125 for each completed community solar enrollment, and contractors will be able to set their own schedules and working hours.

Earning Potential: ? 12 sales a week = $78,000 a year or $1,500 a week ? 15 sales a week = $98,000 a year or $1,875 a week ? 20+ sales a week = $130,000+ a year or $2,500+ a week

Tasks: Complete a briefing that will provide an overview of your contract responsibilities Knock doors and speak directly with residents in Illinois Explain the benefits of local community solar projects Track your sales data through a customer relationship management platform (CRM) Enroll qualified households in guaranteed-savings programs Close deals and get paid!

Essential Requirements: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to break down complex technical concepts into relatable terms A self-starter with a high energy level and a drive to achieve targets Able to manage your own work as an independent contractor Must be 18+ The ability to reliably travel independently within the community is critical to meeting contract goals

Hours and Payment: All Sales Representatives will be independent contractors and paid $125 per completed community solar enrollment. Sales Representatives may choose their own Door Knocking hours, but must complete their enrollments to be eligible for compensation. Compensation will be provided by direct deposit, or by mailed check if requested.
