Role & Responsibilities:

The role is a National Sales Manager position which involves working across all businesses and therapeutic areas in Government sector.

This will be middle management people manager role involves leading the team of Zonal Managers and responsible to achieve financial targets and to drive existing and new growth avenues to build business growth for company portfolio in govt/semi govt institutions across at All India level. Create a payor broad level Strategy and road map to make prioritized inclusion, secure rate contracts and driving financial business growth.

  1. Ensuring Registration of Company in Institutions, Namely Central Govt. (ESIC, Army, CGHS and Railways), and State Govts medical corporations and Govt teaching institutions in India.
  2. Ensuring Govt payors tenders' participation, driving strong HCP relationships, engagements, building brand adoptions and resulting in Revenue generation and achieving financial targets
  3. Proactively inclusion in the drug formulary for major central and state institutions across the country and work closely with business partners
  4. Managing sales in Institutional Sector i.e. All Government / Semi Government / Public Sector Undertakings in India (Tender Based) etc.

Building and strengthening relationships with key opinion leaders & medical fraternity, thereby ensuring high customer satisfaction by providing them with complete product support.

In people manager role, mentoring & training to develop Institutional business sales team for ensuring to deliver high impact performance with strong customer obsession

Collaborating with BU franchises sales teams, marketing, medical and enablers teams to build brand conviction, drive brand adoption, and to drive medico marketing activities in Govt Institutions.

Working closely with business partners, and distributors to ensure seamless partnership and achieve deliverables.

Ensure timely recovery of the payments from Govt Institutions, work with finance teams for settlement of payments, EMD and recovery of PBG's in time bound manner.

Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters career development opportunities and motivates high performance amongst team.

Drive operational excellence with developing close relationship with KOLs, key decision makers and account management in major institutions/ Govt bodies and manage them with the team at different levels within the organization as a strategy.

Qualification:

Prior 8-10 years of extensive experience in leading Govt Business across central and state payors with specific experience in MNC pharma.

Incumbent should have preferably 7-8 yrs of experience in oncology, rare diseases or super specialty therapy areas

Excellent domain knowledge of tender management, dossiers documentations procurement process of central, state payors and govt agencies

Strong existing relationships with key payors HCPs, decision makers and policy makers of key govt institutions
