As a Sales Intern you'll be responsible for the following:

  • They can be part of a project team looking at new project opportunities and sales prospects
  • Maintains close customer contact through frequent and productive sales visits
  • Manages customers offer performance
  • Delivers assigned financial targets
  • Establishes strong customer intimacy and nurtures relationships with key customer contacts
  • During customer visits, responsible for ensuring stock availability, collect orders, manage product range and mix, sell-in, instore activity, demand creation activity
  • In the project business, this role is primarily responsible for owning projects assigned by various Key Account Managers. This includes S&S, VAP, Agriculture, and Professional Projects (Public, O&I, R&H)
  • In the distribution business, this role is primarily responsible for securing solid sell-out from the sales outlets located within a given sales territory - e.g. local wholesale branches (Professional), individual DIY stores (Consumer)
  • Closely collaborates with relevant Key Account Managers and cross-functional Signify Account Teams

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering / Power or relevant field.
  • From 0 to 1 year of experience. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work is focused on the execution of sales support activities according to regulations and work instructions.
  • Work is operational in nature and prioritized by a group leader or supervisor
  • Proficiency in Outlook, MS Office and related business tools.
