More About The Role

The Public Enduser segment primarily serves end customers and partners in the areas of public outdoor and street lighting. Ideally located in the Greater Magdeburg / Leipzig / Berlin area.

Your Tasks

  • Responsibility for the business development of the assigned accounts
  • Part of the S&S Sales Team North (partially virtual) and thus responsibility for conceptual content
  • Special focus on building the system and service business based on connected solutions in all areas of application
  • Implementation of the sales strategy for the named end-user accounts for which you are responsible
  • Definition and creation of market approach and sales strategy for the responsible end-user accounts in the form of account planning
  • Customer-related sales and result responsibility
  • Building a partner network in the region
  • Implementation of the sales strategy for the professional public channel
  • Definition and creation of customer strategies based on key account plans taking into account the sales strategy and market conditions
  • Implementation and continuous review of customer strategies according to account plan
  • Conducting customer visits and other negotiations
  • Collaborative cooperation of all internal interfaces that influence customer success: regional teams, the System Center, the LiAS, the system architects, partner managers, and account managers in accordance with the sales strategy
  • Continuous market and competition observation as well as initiation of counter-measures
  • Ongoing monitoring and documentation of business development as well as, if necessary, development of corrective measures for achieving goals

Your Profile

  • Sales experience of at least 3 years
  • Comprehensive solution- and system-oriented way of working
  • Proven product and market knowledge as well as technical understanding of connected systems advantageous
  • Experience in selling capital goods to municipalities and energy suppliers
  • Curiosity and openness to actively implement new topics
  • Excellent negotiation skills and high closing orientation
  • Very good MS Office skills as well as experience in handling CRM systems
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking and action with a "hands on" mentality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent German and good English skills in speech and writing
