Sales Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Coordinator to join our high performing Construction Industry team. Based in our Brisbane, Acacia Ridge office, this is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday. We are looking for someone with impeccable work ethics who wants to develop their career, seize opportunities, and take responsibility for achieving excellence whilst working as part of a great team! The key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:

  • Prepare official quotations for the supply of new and used CI prime equipment and attachments
  • Coordinate the customer order to invoice process for the supply of new and used CI equipment and attachments
  • Engage with multiple internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Sales Management, Treasury, Operations, Equipment Assembly as well as multiple vendors and Caterpillar to effectively coordinate and manage the customer quotation and order to invoice processes
  • Ensure all relevant costs are confirmed and incorporated in each quotation to cover estimated expenses
  • Negotiate / liaise with Caterpillar in relation to commercial support or customer alignment / rebate programs including Caterpillar One Time Only pricing request (OTO), Customer Appreciation Program (CAP), Special Price Assistance Request (SPAR) etc.
  • As required, obtain pricing from overseas suppliers, liaise with shipping companies and Customs obtaining all necessary pricing, shipping and Customs information and calculate cost and selling figures (including currency conversion calculations)

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

  • Solid Microsoft Office and computer skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
  • High communication skills (verbal and written) with a strong customer service focus
  • Tertiary education and previous experience in an administrative, sales or trade roles
  • Experience in heavy earthmoving industries is highly regarded
  • Technical or mechanical experience and aptitude is desirable
  • Previous experience with ERP systems
  • Desire to grow and develop your career in an energetic sales team!
