- The Sales Representative - Government will work with account contacts to increase penetration of current accounts.
- This role involves strengthening key segment account relationships and administering associated programs and initiatives.
- The candidate will maintain focus on Choice participation and competitiveness with accounts.
- Managing specific needs of account managers to ensure they have all necessary tools, including trade shows, is a key responsibility.
- The position requires frequent nationwide travel, up to 50% of the time, to visit conventions and franchisees.

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality sales is required for this role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is essential.
- The candidate should have strong knowledge of the corporate/government transient market and related RFP tools and resources.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are necessary, including heavy email communication.
