National Account Executive

The National Account Executive will develop, maintain, and grow relationships with key, high-value clients on a national scale, acting as the primary point of contact and a strategic partner to ensure client satisfaction and achieve sales, revenue, and growth targets.

Key responsibilities include creating and executing strategic sales plans, analyzing market trends, coordinating with internal departments, and assisting regional sales teams to maximize growth and profitability with our Parts House Distribution accounts.

Success in this position requires self-motivation and a strong sense of ownership to anticipate and fulfill account needs. Products include:

  • Automotive/General Purpose Lifts
  • Specialty Lifts
  • Brake Lathes
  • Collision Repair Equipment

Location: Successful applicant must live within 1 hour of an airport (Travel: 40%)

Responsibilities

Quickly cultivate strong relationships with key clients across various locations and regions.

Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve company objectives and sales targets.

Work with National Accounts to identify monthly and quarterly promotional opportunities and drive sales and revenue growth.

Act as a liaison between clients and Hofmann support teams (e.g., marketing, product development, operations, Regional Sales Managers and manufacturer's representatives) to meet client needs and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.

Engage with customers to understand their needs and partner with internal teams to resolve issues related to product tracking, warranty claims, and pricing or promotional support.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and account-specific data to inform strategies and identify areas for improvement.

Track and report on sales performance across accounts, providing recommendations to the National Sales Manager and VP of Sales.

Approximately 60% travel nationally to support customers, supporting trade shows or conference events and delivering periodic business reviews. Successful candidate must live within one hour of a major airport.

Qualifications

Significant experience in sales and client relationship management.

Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, planning and the ability to monitor activities according to priorities.

Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions.

Capability to develop broad, strategic plans that align with overall business objectives.

Proven leadership abilities to manage teams and influence others.

Solid undercar equipment product knowledge and sales experience required.

Associates Degree or Technical Certificate necessary; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Capital equipment sales background preferred.

Familiarity with software such as the Microsoft Office suite.
