The sales team's mission is to collaborate with various internal teams and partners to communicate the value and benefits of Snowflake, while also acting as a long-term data strategy advisor.
The Japanese field sales team operates in 11 teams based on customer size and industry. As we expand, we are looking for talented individuals to manage enterprise accounts. Can you help us grow the Snowflake market in Japan?
The impact you will make:
- Become an expert in Snowflake products and conduct discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations to prospects.
- Understand customers' existing and future IT roadmaps to become a trusted advisor and promote Snowflake solutions in the market.
- Identify prospects, develop new customers, and continuously expand existing customers.
- Acquire, implement, expand, and deepen sales opportunities for assigned accounts.
- Develop sales strategies for target prospects and accounts, achieving quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned accounts/territories.
- Build strong relationships with CxOs, IT executives, LOB executives, and other key stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales engineering, professional services, marketing, and partners.
Who you are:
- Over 6 years of experience in field sales in the SaaS industry.
- Proficient in the full cycle of building, managing, developing, and closing relationships with new customers.
- Experienced in strategically developing new business using creative prospect identification.
- Experience in the automotive industry or a desire to challenge yourself in the automotive industry.
- Capable of independently creating account plans and sales strategies.
- Experienced in accurately understanding customer challenges and selling appropriate solutions and their expected effects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to directly approach executive-level clients and build long-term relationships.
- Passion for data technology and the ability to stay updated with industry trends.
- Ability to effectively involve appropriate people within and outside the company to achieve goals faster and larger.
- A "One Team" mindset who can easily collaborate with various departments and support each other.
- Fluent in business English is a plus.
