Our Partners & Alliances organization is seeking a senior Partner Manager to join our team in Tokyo to take care of our growing Partner ecosystem in Japan.

We are looking for a senior channel professional who understands the SaaS business and how to grow and manage a region for a fast-growing cloud company. In addition to recruiting and enabling partners to land new customers and drive consumption, you will be responsible for driving marketing activities with your partners to increase brand awareness and generate leads.

Reporting to the Regional Partner Director you will have a unique opportunity to work for a disruptive company at the forefront of the Data & AI revolution, and lead the development of a vibrant partner community. This is a quota carrying position.

In This Role You Will Get To:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in the General Business area with Japanese SI partners.
  • Develop and maintain a network of Data & AI practice leaders
  • Manage a portfolio of high performing data services providers to achieve partnership goals such as net new customers and consumption
  • Develop best practices to engage with focus partners, escalate issues and set clear expectations with partners on working with Snowflake
  • Develop partner specific account plans to include annual co-sell goals, marketing campaigns, sponsorships, accreditations, certifications, etc.
  • Ensure focus partners keep investing on their Snowflake practice
  • Support the field in the process of engaging with partners and leveraging our partner programs
  • Measure and report on the success of focus partners
  • Help with recruitment, on-boarding and training of new partners in coordination with the assigned Partner Sales Engineer

On Day One We Will Expect You To Have:

  • 8+ years of industry experience within partnership/alliances, sales, or business development
  • 5+ years of direct channel sales/management experience within the SaaS space
  • Ability to design and present business plans, track and articulate program progress, design and document program guidelines for distribution throughout the organization (all levels) and for external use
  • Working knowledge of cloud environments preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Fluent in English - written & spoken
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
