We are growing in South Africa! Our Medical Surgical Business is looking to appoint a Regional Sales Manager (NSM) to lead and grow our commercial footprint across Gauteng. Reporting to the Country Business Leader, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will:

  • Drive active and respective sales (revenue) and operating plans
  • Budget and P&L management per respective region
  • Sales strategy and planning
  • Team management, including improving efficiency and competitiveness
  • Customer relationship management
  • Sales reporting and analysis (SF.COM adherence and management of POS)
  • Collaboration with marketing, clinical and other departments cross functionally
  • Development, motivation and training and coaching, as well as leading for change
  • Evaluates and recommends new activities and approaches to improve sales rep performance results
  • Product: knowledge, demand planning, training and education
  • Compliance and regulatory adherence
  • Market expansion and competitive intelligence
  • Event participation and networking proven CRM knowledge

Your skills and expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree 5+ years of relevant experience in MedTech, Pharma, or Healthcare.
  • Proven experience leading a sales team and managing people both remotely and directly.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and customer service excellence.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of the Med Tech industry, healthcare market in South Africa, and regulatory compliance for medical devices.
  • Capability to execute strategic plans set by the company.

Work Location

  • Hybrid eligible: Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to our Fourways office at least 1–2 days per week
  • Travel: May include up to 60% regional/Gauteng based travel
  • This position requires driving a company vehicle, subject to pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history
