The Data & Research business line comprises of Capital IQ Solutions and our core data assets, including Visible Alpha, After Market Research, Industry and Company data, on Capital IQ and Pronto. As a Sales Specialist within our dynamic Financial Institutions team, you will play a critical role in business development and client engagement across the Investment Management and Alternative Asset Management segments. Your product suite includes Market Intelligence's flagship desktop platform – Capital IQ Pro which integrates several industry-renowned data-sets including SNL Financial, Capital IQ, and Visible Alpha. You will also lead sales efforts around data-feeds and data-automation/AI which S&P is heavily vested in and continuing to build upon.
You will leverage both strategic sales techniques and cutting-edge sales technology tools like SalesLoft to drive growth and client success. Your responsibilities will include:

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,817 to $94,976. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for a sales commission plan.

Experienced in consultative sales and/or account management within the Financial Institutions sector, with a proven track record in business development.
Proficient in the use of commercial technology tools like SalesLoft for sales engagement, pipeline management, and performance analytics.
Excellent communicators with the ability to effectively engage diverse client segments in the Financial Institutions sector.
Strategic thinkers who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining focus and effectiveness under pressure.
Confident in liaising with senior stakeholders and decision-makers across various segments of Financial Institutions.
Curious and innovative, constantly seeking new methods and technologies to improve sales processes and client engagement.
