Experienced and highly productive Inside Sales Representative, who can effectively manage larger volume accounts while growing and taking care of our customers.
Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the day-to-day orders to provide the best in service to our customers.
Handle incoming sales call/email requests and promptly answer customer requests.
Able to check inventory, future rolling's, production to be able to accurately quote customers.
Enter orders, check status, and make costumer aware of any changes to the status of the material.
Work to meet the sales goals provided by the customer and the Vulcan sales team.
Develop new customers and accounts, reach out to existing customers to grow business.
Maintain and monitor customers activity within your assigned accounts.
Keep mistakes to a bare minimum, accuracy is a must.
Work closely with the Market Managers, Scheduling, Quoting departments for updated pricing, specification review, and quoting lead times to customers.
Back up Sales team when needed, answer phones, respond to emails and take care of the customers when a teammate is absent.
Travel as needed and meet with customers of Vulcan Steel Products
Qualifications
Requirements:
Strong problem solver and multi-tasker
Organizational skills and accuracy are a MUST.
Must be able to work in a team environment and willing to help teammates daily.
Ability to identify and research accounts, key players, and generate interest to grow existing accounts along with cultivating new ones.
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
Preferred:
3+ years of sales experience in the metals industry
2-4 year degree
