Inside Sales Representative
Delta Steel: Houston is currently seeking an Inside Sales representative to join our team. As a leading steel service center in Houston, TX, we are looking for a motivated individual to help drive sales and provide excellent customer service to our clients in San Antonio, South Texas, and West Texas markets.
Responsibilities
- Prospect new customers and accounts
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
- Provide pricing and delivery information to customers
- Coordinate with operations and logistics to ensure on-time delivery
- Entry and processing of customer orders
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues
- Follow up with customers regarding quotations and outcalls to generate additional inquiries
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals
- Position will be located in our Houston office servicing the San Antonio, South Texas, and West Texas markets
Requirements
- Prior experience in inside sales or customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of steel, metal, or fabrication industry is a plus
