The Accelerated Sales Engagement Expert drives strategic initiatives and accelerates cloud revenue growth by leveraging SAP's innovative solution portfolio, transforming sales motions, and maximizing customer value. This role facilitates scalable engagements, particularly in the "Select" and "Extend" phases of the Customer Value Journey, and acts as a catalyst for sales teams and customer opportunities. The expert collaborates closely with Account Executives and Account Teams to understand customer business goals and articulate solution value for optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

Deal Support & Strategic Engagement

Deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations covering SAP and partner solutions, clearly articulating the sales message and differentiating SAP to prospective customers, including senior executives.

Prepare and deliver value-based software demonstrations, personalizing materials to ensure a simple, appealing, and impactful customer experience.

Conduct discovery sessions with prospective customers to build relationships and understand unique needs.

Demonstrate deep knowledge of SAP solutions and relevant industries to maintain credibility, providing proof points with customer success stories.

Support RFx completion for customer proposals and provide limited post-sale support to ensure smooth project transitions.

Lead as Solution Captain for complex deals, coordinating multiple presales participants for successful customer presentations or demos.

Effectively leverage global and regional support teams (Solution Specialists, Domain Experts, Solution Hubs, Deal Advisors, Product Management) to ensure presales success.

Advise on deal strategy, contracting, and deal structure throughout the opportunity lifecycle.

Consult on and assess forecasts for the focus area, and build repeatable sales best practices for new business incubation.

Demand Generation & Pipeline Acceleration

Lead and support sales and marketing events, both onsite and remotely, to promote new and innovative solutions.

Facilitate customer workshops to introduce new solutions to customers and prospects.

Collaborate with sales teams to identify whitespace opportunities and expand the pipeline.

Define target account lists based on ideal customer profiles, and drive market awareness and best practice development.

Expand the cloud footprint and guide scalable engagements to drive long-term growth and customer lifetime value.

Sales Readiness & Enablement

Build strong relationships with sales teams to promote effective sales methodologies.

Participate in demo system design, planning, and configuration as needed.

Contribute to new product release input, testing, and peer training.

Serve as a champion or leader in Solution Hubs, providing knowledge transfer to colleagues.

Inform global solution areas of new requirements, successful campaigns, and customer innovations.

Work Experience

5~10+ years of S/4HANA specialist (or equivalent customer-facing) experience in areas appropriate to the job

Presales experience, demonstrates 5-7 successful engagements leading teams on over mid-sized deals

Expert knowledge of end-to-end processes and solution matching; experience in cloud implementation.

Excellent presentation and communication skills, English: proficient

Business level local language: expert

Education and Qualification / Skills and Competencies

Bachelor equivalent: minimum requirement

Strong understanding of SAP ERP, S/4HANA

Good understanding of industry-specific business processes

Well-developed customer focus

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Proactive attitude, and good energy to develop new markets
