Promote company technologies and processes by engaging with customers and design institutions, and by participating in exhibitions, seminars, and other industry events to identify customer needs and expectations.
Work closely with the Business Development team to align sales strategies with marketing efforts and support the development of a strong project pipeline.
Collect and analyze market intelligence including upcoming project plans, competitor programs, key decision-makers, and relevant industry policies and trends.
Manage and update a healthy pipeline of high-potential opportunities and ensure timely reporting of relevant sales intelligence to management.
Tender and Proposal Support
Manage the preparation and submission of documentation for prequalification requirements of upcoming tenders.
Serve as the link between the commercial/sales team and the Proposal Production Center to ensure alignment with local needs, practices, and bid strategies.
Create technical and commercial winning strategies to maximize the chance of successful bids.
Support the preparation and review of technical and commercial bid submittals, ensuring compliance with tender requirements.
Take the lead in technical presentations and clarifications during both pre- and post-tender phases, including responses to bid queries.
Support contract negotiations for awarded projects, particularly on technical aspects.
Technical Support and Customer Interaction
Provide troubleshooting and technical guidance to clients, especially in addressing challenges related to application, experimentation, or unexpected results.
Manage complex technical support aspects related to the sale of products and services.
Coach and support the sales team on technical knowledge and selling techniques to enhance customer engagement.
Internal Communication and Reporting
Prepare and deliver regular presentations, reports, and strategic briefs to the management team for performance tracking and decision-making support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (chemical or environmental is preferred), etc.
Proven experience in preparing and submitting proposals for water and/or wastewater treatment facilities
Strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies and processes
Demonstrated experience in client collaboration, with a solid understanding of market dynamics including competitors and key stakeholders
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the water treatment sector
Well-presented and articulate, with strong communication, networking, and presentation skills
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and maintaining effective relationships
Willing and able to travel frequently, particularly within the Southeast Asia region
Critical thinker with sound judgment, able to make informed decisions based on experience and previous proposal work
Proficient in preparing and delivering high-quality reports and presentations
A collaborative team player, eager to learn, and able to perform effectively under pressure
