This is a field sales role with a product that's genuinely easy to believe in. You'll drive a planned route across Chicago's north side and nearby suburbs every day, building relationships with the property managers and facility managers who keep calling back once they've seen what we can do. You'll run a proven sales script with real coaching behind it — what separates top performers here is the ability to build a territory over time.

Competitive Pay — $60,000–$90,000 OTE (base salary + commission + bonuses). Hitting the top of that range requires strong, consistent performance, but the path is clear and coachable.

Paid holidays and paid time off.

Full-time, standard business hours — no nights, no weekends. Most of the time is spent in the field selling, and minimal remote admin work can be done from home or from the location of your choosing.

Mileage reimbursed and phone stipend provided.

Weekly 1:1 coaching, national sales training at Surface Experts HQ, and access to a dedicated support center for admin assistance.

Small business owner is involved, available daily, and leads weekly team meetings (breakfast provided!)

Start your morning at home: plan your route, review your target accounts, prep follow-up notes from the day before.

Drive your planned route — typically 12–15 stops across north side Chicago neighborhoods plus Evanston, Skokie, Niles, and Park Ridge.

Walk into apartment communities, maintenance offices, and commercial properties to introduce yourself and build relationships with the people who make repair decisions.

Deliver a proven introduction and ask questions to better understand the needs and motivations of our customers.

Follow up with contacts who weren't available, keep your pipeline moving, and watch early conversations become recurring accounts.

Log every visit, note, and follow-up in our software before your day ends.

Attend a weekly team meeting (breakfast included) to review numbers, share wins, and get coaching.

You've done some form of outside or field sales before — you know what it feels like to prospect, follow up, and manage a territory. You're looking for a role with a real product, a clear process, and room to build something.

Proven self-starter — You've managed your own territory or schedule before and have the results to show for it. You don't need someone to tell you to make more calls.

Process-driven — You're comfortable running a scripted message and refining your delivery over time.

Persistent and resourceful — Getting to the right contact takes patience, creativity, and consistent follow-through.

Detail-oriented by habit — You log your visits, track your follow-ups, and treat your CRM like a tool that makes you money.

Coachable — Weekly coaching is part of the role. You welcome specific feedback and can give an example of a time it changed how you work.

1–3 years of outside sales, route sales, or field sales experience.

Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle.

Must be based in or near Chicago — daily travel throughout the north side and nearby suburbs.

Comfortable with CRM or route-tracking software (training provided).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
