Inside Sales Representative Alps - German Speaking

The role

Since its inception in 1992, SUSE has been at the forefront of technical innovation where change has been the only constant.

As an Inside Sales Representative you will work closely with the sales teams and field marketing to assist in generating net new pipeline from a combination of outbound sales motions and converting inbound leads.

This will support business growth in line with our ambitious objectives and company culture. Critical to achieving excellent results will be conducting outbound calls and emails to generate new business opportunities and identifying and qualifying potential leads through various channels.

The role sits within the ISR function, reporting to the ISR Manager.

Focus areas

  • Work closely with New Business Account Executives (AEs) to prospect for new contacts and opportunities within the DACH market.
  • Build outbound campaigns to engage priority target customers
  • Manage inbound leads by creating personalized sequences consisting of emails, calls and LinkedIn messages.
  • Work together with partners in DACH to generate new opportunities by reaching out to their customer base and/or educating them on our portfolio.

Preferred experience & skills

  • Brings a solid understanding of the Open Source, Software Defined Infrastructure or Cloud market and related customer needs.
  • Creative ways to engage prospects through social selling, with examples
  • Demonstrates experience and success in identifying new business through partners and their respective initiatives/projects at senior executive level.
  • Experience with working in sales teams to prospect new accounts.
  • Understanding of qualification methodologies (such as MEDDPICC).
  • Experience with working with CRM and lead sequencing tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach and Groove.
  • Solid understanding of the German tech market and trends
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility in working hours required
