Senior District Sales Manager

The Senior District Sales Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight to a team of District Sales Managers and/or Sales Consultants, driving significant sales growth, profitability, and market share within a larger geographic area or key market segment. This role focuses on developing talent, implementing strategic initiatives, and fostering strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve significant revenue and profit growth.
  • Oversee district sales performance, analyzing trends and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify and develop key customer relationships and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute regional and national sales strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and performance.
  • Manage sales budgets and resources effectively.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing sales talent.

Skills:

  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities.
  • Deep understanding of the foodservice industry and sales landscape.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM and other sales management tools.

Certifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

Experience: 9+ years of experience, of which at least 5 leading a team
