✨ About The Role
- This position involves achieving a sales plan assigned by the Sysco Specialty Meat Group (SSMG) and maximizing sales profitability and growth within the assigned territory.
- The role requires establishing and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business.
- Responsibilities include making in-person visits and presentations to customers, taking orders, and overseeing order input with inside sales partners.
- The candidate will need to react timely to customer problems and needs, and analyze sales and margin reports for improvement opportunities.
- Participation in training and customer events organized by the Sysco Specialty Meat Group is also expected.

- The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, with a preference for a four-year degree in culinary arts, business, marketing, or related fields.
- A minimum of two years of experience in food service and/or sales is strongly preferred.
- Candidates should possess deep expertise in the meat and seafood category or have a restaurant/culinary background.
- Successful individuals will demonstrate consultative sales abilities and be self-motivated with strong time management skills.
- Strong customer relations skills and a sense of urgency in meeting customer needs are essential for this role.
