Frozen Desserts LLC is the largest franchisee of Mister Softee in New Jersey, operating the largest fleet of soft ice cream trucks in the state. It is located in Ewing, NJ, a suburban city very close to Trenton, the state capital.
Strategic Location:
- A 1 hour train ride from New York and Philadelphia
- A 2 hour drive from Washington D.C.
- A 1 hour drive from Jersey Shore beaches and Pocono Mountains
It is an area with easy access to public transportation, shopping centers, restaurants, and cultural activities. Summers are hot, so it is important to be willing to work outdoors.
Position: External Ice Cream Truck Seller
This job involves driving a Mister Softee truck on pre-established routes, selling and serving ice cream in neighborhoods and commercial areas. Each seller operates their truck as a small mobile business.
Conditions and Schedule
Base Salary: $400 USD weekly
Daily Tips (can be high depending on your performance)
Sales Bonus at the end of the season (percentage on total sales)
Bi-weekly Payment
Estimated Schedule: from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. or more (8–12 hours a day)
Minimum 4 days a week, with the possibility of working 5 or 6 days if performance is high
