Internal Sales Manager

Achieve revenue and gross profit objectives by managing your client base from an internal sales perspective. Develop profitable client relationships through efficient order management and effective handling of customer requests. Complete requests for information about offerings, quotations, technical information, and positioning of TD SYNNEX programs and services in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing complete orders, including placing orders, following up to ensure all holds are released, and providing tracking information to customers at the time of shipment (25%).
  • Proactively contacting and developing a specific account base, and seeking new business opportunities to achieve growth and profitability objectives (25%).
  • Effectively managing the customer experience by responding to all quotations, quotations, and orders through multiple communication modes (telephone, email, instant messaging, fax) (10%).
  • Proactively discussing TD SYNNEX value-added services, including the TD SYNNEX Reservation Program, Configuration Services, and others as needed (10%).
  • Using your expertise to negotiate TD's gross margin through additional and cross-sell opportunities (5%).
  • Developing and improving relationships with all TD SYNNEX departments and field representatives of suppliers to act as a liaison on behalf of the client (5%).
  • Gathering competitive, market, and pricing information and providing feedback to relevant parties (5%).
  • Attending all mandatory supplier training, informational lunches, and seminars (5%).
  • Supporting other sales teams when coverage is needed (5%).
  • Providing leadership to the team by being an expert in the field (5%).
  • Performing other additional tasks as assigned.
  • Meeting attendance and punctuality standards.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • High School Diploma
  • University or college degree in Sales/Marketing majors

Work experience:

  • Sales
  • Call center/retail sales in the computer industry

Industry experience:

  • 3 years in the industry or 5+ years of sales experience
  • 5 years in the IT industry

Other related experiences:

  • Knowledge of software/hardware/network products
  • Knowledge of Windows, Office Suite applications, CRM tools
